SILENT CRIES

Now I lay me down to sleep.

I pray my soul to take.

If I should die before I wake,

I pray my soul to keep.

Took a ride on the boulevard.

See the city streets.

People standing on the corners,

with no where to be.

See the child without a home

What are his memories?

People starring, whispering.

He smiles without a shame.

Ooh can’t you hear me?

Ooh can’t you hear me?

Old man kneeling on his knee’s.

Begging father time

To return, his only world.

Face he lost in time.

Woke up this morning.

Realized the pain.

Looking in the mirror,

The child of just a dream.

Ooh can’t you hear me?

Ooh can’t you hear me?
